Why They Love Being a Student

Aaliyah loves being a student because learning feels like an adventure. She’s naturally curious and always asking big questions about how things work. She gets excited to build, create, and solve problems, and she’s proud when she masters something new. School gives her a place to explore her imagination, grow her confidence, and share her bright, silly personality with everyone around her.

Favorite Subject & Why

Aaliyah’s favorite subjects are math and science because she loves figuring out how things work and solving problems. Numbers feel like puzzles she gets to crack, and science lets her explore, experiment, and ask big questions. She also loves ASL club because learning sign language helps her communicate in a new way and makes her feel proud to connect with others differently.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

A $20,000 award would open doors our family simply can’t afford on our own. We aren’t the richest family, but we believe deeply in her education. It would help provide advanced learning programs, science camps, books, ASL resources, and future college savings. Most importantly, it would remove financial stress and allow her curiosity and talent to grow without limits holding her back.
