It would mean the difference between going to college or not. She’s had many surgeries over her life to repair her eardrum to fix her hearing and surgeries add up to debt. Finding out she has a rare spinal disease and will need her spine fused in the future has stressed us out as well. From special equipment and expensive physical therapy, it all adds up. Federal aid doesn’t take into consideration life and how it affects things. $20,000 would be a dream come true for her.
