Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Because he gets to learn, “I love learning things that I never knew.” Adam loves listening to “vintage” music on CDs. (Like newsboys, five iron frenzy and the hush sound). Adam has watched every episode of Bill Nye the science guy. Adam is a student at home (on his own time) as much as he is at school. His curiosity is insatiable, and he often asks questions that I have to do research in order to answer properly…
Favorite Subject & Why
Adam‘s favorite subject is science. “I like quantum physics because I find it interesting… it is something beyond what my school is teaching me that I can research. When I grow up, I’m going to go to Minor’s College because they’re starting a new quantum mechanics program with an underground cryolab! (Like on the flash!) I want to minor in theater because I love musicals. My “Papa” had a Masters in physics like I’ll have someday, and I need to be saving for college. We aren’t rich.”
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Adam has never been to camp, that is an opportunities which I would love to afford for him. I am so proud that he wants to follow in his grandfathers footsteps and get a Masters degree. Adam’s Dad is a nurse (there are five nurses in our family). Science is big in our family. Adam is the oldest of five children. I’d love to add a chunk to Adam’s college fund - to support his dream of studying quantum mechanics! We are so thankful for this opportunity to apply.
