Why They Love Being a Student

For Aidan, learning isn’t something separate from who he is — curiosity is part of how he moves through the world. He’s constantly exploring, asking questions, and searching for patterns in how things work. New ideas feel like puzzles waiting to be solved, and he loves experimenting with different approaches until something finally clicks. School gives him a place to stretch his mind, explore new concepts, and turn curiosity into understanding.

Favorite Subject & Why

Aidan's love of learning isn't biased toward any academic categories, and that may be part of the magic of this stage of life and of his education. Math, reading, art, and play are simply different tools for exploring ideas. Each new skill becomes another building block in the framework he’s constructing to understand and create within his world. His ingenuity shines during free play with friends, where imagination, collaboration, and problem-solving come naturally.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

The most powerful education happens where curiosity meets opportunity, and cultivating a lifelong love of learning grows through experiences beyond the classroom. This award would allow Aidan to explore camps, programs, and hands-on experiences that expose him to new ideas and deepen his passions—opportunities currently out of reach (fiscally). It would also be a chance to teach financial literacy: stewarding resources wisely so opportunities grow into lifelong curiosity and possibility.
