Alessia loves to learn new facts daily and share what she has learned with others. When she is watching shows like Planet Earth or movies like Jurassic Park, she will pause and tell someone in the family what she just learned and why it's so cool. Ever since she could talk, she has loved learning as much as she possibly can from anyone and anything.
Favorite Subject & Why
Alessia loves Reading because it comes naturally to her. She is currently in 1st grade but reading at a 4th grade level. However, her favorite is Science. They are in the Weathering and Erosion unit right now, and she is always excited to absorb as much as she can before moving on to the next unit.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
If she were to win the $20,000, we would definitely put it away so that she can access it at 18. We strongly advise our girls to go to college or university (our oldest took our advice), but we also want them to follow their passions. I think ultimately Alessia will choose a career path dealing with Science, and the money will definitely help her succeed.
