Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Anandi loves blending her studies in natural sciences at school and researching our National Parks. After completing a research and art project of Yosemite National Park, Anandi inspired her family to travel to Yosemite where she led us on a 6-mile hike straight up a 7,000 elevation Glacier pointe to see Yosemite Falls for herself. All science can be discovered and Anandi is inspired to keep learning and exploring.
Favorite Subject & Why
Science, math and gym are Anandi’s favorite subjects. Anandi loves learning the big stuff, like how to solve for PI and how a cartwheel is basically PI but with your body, so doing cartwheels is basically doing math and physics at the same time.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
The award is an investment for college. Anandi hopes to study science in college. She has learned how saving and investing now makes it possible for her and her brother to do more in the future.
