Why They Love Being a Student
Being a student isn't solely on endless work at a desk, it is about pursuing curiosity and continuing a lifelong journey of learning. She is a sophomore at The Woodlands High School, ranking 11 out of 1100+ students. At home, she has devoted over 170 hours tutoring students K-12 in math and reading. Within the first month of her teaching, her student's Algebra grade rose from D- to B+. She also excels in History and Art competitions.
Favorite Subject & Why
A greater future cannot be built without understanding the past. History is Angel's favorite subject because she is always looking for blueprints of change in modern day societies. She is interested in "why", not "what", events occur and the lessons found over revolutions and reforms.

"Education is the silver bullet." $20,000 would be a catalyst for Angel's dream of international law and humanitarian career.
