Why They Love Being a Student
Asher enjoys being a student because he loves learning new things, even things he never thought he'd enjoy learning, like history. He always has a question and wants to dive deeper into topics and better understand the world around him. It's this curiosity that pushes him through, even when a class is difficult.
Favorite Subject & Why
Asher's favorite subject is world history. He enjoys it because he gets to see how the world came to be and what influenced its evolution over time. He also gets a kick out of learning about places around the world that he's been to as a military kid. Seeing our travel photos of him in places in Europe makes history class more fun and provides him a deeper connection to it.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Asher would like to work in both animal care services and content creation one day. He is deeply passionate about animals and the environment and has always had a special connection to both. In working toward these goals, he'd like to attend veterinary school and take courses in content creation so he can help animals himself and share with the world how they can help through video content. This award would help him accomplish that.
