Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
She loves learning and has expressed that she wants to be a Teacher. Ava has been tested and categorized as Gifted. But, she still work hards and plays hard at school. I have never seen a child like her be so excited to attend school every day. She even helps her classmates and teachers. Her empathy shines at school.
Favorite Subject & Why
Math. She started out having challenges with Math. Her tutor and teacher worked together to make Math fun. Now, before she goes to bed, she enjoys making math equations.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
It would support her continued education through an after-school program and help pay for her current Tutor. We are Hurricane Helene survivors, and the school lost some school supplies. As parents, we are trying to replace what we can, but with $20,000, I would pay for new supplies for all the students. Replace the books we lost. If Ava wins, so does her school.
