Why They Love Being a Student

She enjoys being a student because she gets to learn from her favorite teacher, who is also neurodiverse. Seeing someone who shares a similar way of thinking helps Avery feel understood and confident in the classroom. Her teacher inspires her to try new things, ask questions, and believe in her abilities. This connection makes learning feel exciting and supportive, showing Avery that her unique perspective is a strength and that she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to.

Favorite Subject & Why

Avery doesn’t have a favorite subject because she is a naturally curious child who loves learning about everything. Whether she’s exploring science, reading new stories, solving math problems, or discovering history, she approaches each topic with excitement and an open mind. She enjoys asking thoughtful questions and finding new connections between ideas because school is an adventure that inspires her imagination and fuels her desire to keep discovering more about the world around her.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

She would share the money with her school so it wouldn’t have to spend so much time and energy fundraising throughout the year. Instead, the school could focus more on creating and expanding extracurricular activities that inspire creativity, teamwork, and confidence. Avery believes these programs help students discover new passions and talents. By supporting the school in this way, she hopes every student would have more opportunities to grow, explore, and become well-rounded individuals.
