Why They Love Being a Student

My child loves being a student because school is a place where curiosity comes alive. Each day brings new challenges, friendships, and opportunities to grow. They love discovering new ideas, asking big questions, and feeling proud of their hard work. Encouraging teachers and supportive classmates make learning exciting, building confidence and a love for knowledge that grows stronger every year.

Favorite Subject & Why

My child’s favorite subject is AP History with Mr. Reiney because he truly makes it come to life. His passion and storytelling turn past events into powerful lessons. He loves being challenged to think critically and make real-world connections. Most of all, he’s inspired by the idea that by learning from the past, we can better understand the present and help reshape a stronger, wiser future.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

A $20,000 award would help my child take meaningful steps toward earning a degree in civil engineering. It would ease the financial burden of tuition, books, and hands-on learning opportunities. His goal is bigger than a career—he wants to serve people by helping countries overseas design safer cities and improve daily life. This support would move him closer to a mission rooted in purpose, impact, and making the world better for others.
