Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
For Brody, being a student genuinely lights him up. His teachers inspire him (even if he’s still working on not chiming in during every lesson!). Writing and art bring his vivid imagination to life, and STEAM lets him build and explore. Every afternoon he runs home bursting with projects and new facts for anyone who will listen. His joy for learning reminds me how magical curiosity can be.
Favorite Subject & Why
Brody says he loves art because you “learn new things you can make and then teach your family.” That perfectly captures who he is. Creating and sharing brings him so much joy. STEAM is a close second, where he loves building with anything he can get his hands on...from giant blocks to magnetic tiles, or discovering new games on the Chromebook. His curiosity makes every school day an adventure he can’t wait to come home and share about.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A $20,000 award would open incredible doors for Brody’s love of science and fuel his biggest dreams. He hopes to attend Space Camp at Kennedy Space Center like I did as a child, where he could explore engineering and space science firsthand. He would also love to attend a CrunchLabs camp and have a 3D printer so he can design and build his own inventions. For a kid who is endlessly wondering and always creating, these opportunities would help turn his imagination into real-world discovery.
