Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
My son loves being a student because every day brings a chance to explore, create, and solve problems. Even with the challenges of Crohn’s disease, he stays curious, asking questions, building projects, and coding for fun. School gives him a place to turn ideas into real creations, like his life-size catapult, and to challenge himself every day.
Favorite Subject & Why
His favorite subject is science because he loves experimenting, discovering how things work, and turning ideas into real projects. He previously attended Eagle Polytechnic Institute, where he thrived in hands-on STEM learning. When his Crohn’s disease became more severe, he switched to online learning through Insight School of California so he could continue pursuing his passion. Even now, he keeps exploring STEM through coding and creative projects.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A $20,000 award would help my son continue exploring science and coding despite Crohn’s. With one year left before high school graduation, he plans to study coding in college and create games. The award would provide coding programs, STEM kits, and hands-on projects at home, helping him develop skills, pursue his passion, and reach his full potential.
