He just absorbs knowledge like a sponge. He loves participating in class (maybe a bit too much even, sorry Mrs. Delorme!). Anytime he doesn't understand something, he always asks everything he can so that he can have a better grasp of the subject. This kid is straight up sad when he has to miss school. He just broke his arm on the playground yesterday, had surgery this morning, and is already asking when he can go to back to school!
Favorite Subject & Why
Caiden really enjoys math. It gives him a challenge. Given that he's just a first grader, he can already add and subtract double, and even triple digits easily. He got bored with that, so we are currently learning multiplication!
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
That money would be a great seed for whatever he aspires to go to college for. At 7 years old, talking strictly about higher educational goals, our greatest advantage is time. He would be well on his way to paying for whichever degree he wanted. In the meantime, he would absolutely love going to STEM camps to satisfy his hunger for knowledge.
