Why They Love Being a Student

Calleigh loves being a student because she truley loves learning. Calleigh shows amazing potential when it comes to learning new things. She is so focused and always coming home or calling me telling me all about her day. She is the most excited child in our family when it comes to her grades. She takes pride in her work and will do anything it takes to keep them up. Calleigh has faced many struggles especially having an IEP wich can make school a little bit intimidating. She is proud of herself

Favorite Subject & Why

Calleighs favorite subjects are Art and Science. She is such an artistic soul. She loves to draw and color. Her art even is shown in how she presents herself. We have always encouraged her to shine through her art. Science is pretty much the only subject she talks about when she comes home. She is excited about highschool and taking chemistry. She loves to experiment and see what the different outcomes are.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

20,000$ would help Calleigh substantially. We are a low income family. This could help Calleigh reach her goals of going to a college that will help her artistic talent grow into a career. Calleigh has so much potential and this could enable her to have the extra services she may need such as specialized tutoring. This could take a huge stress of some of the financial aspect of college off the table. Reducing barriers will make college look a little more like a reachable goal in her eyes.
