How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Calvin would like to take his drawings and stories out of his notebook and onto the screen. The award will allow him to explore the technology and experimentation required to improve in filmmaking and animation. Calvin says he'll put half toward college, use some of the budget to hire his friends because filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and produce his next project, a youtube series about two kids with jobs. Calvin likes to highlight comedy, history and social justice.
