Carson LOVES learning and applying logic in the classroom and in the world. He eagerly participates and asks excellent questions to improve his understanding- and then shares with the family during dinner each night! He even loves to create his own math questions for all of us and challenges us to sharpen our math skills, too!
Favorite Subject & Why
Carson loves math. He has excellent pattern recognition skills and applies math concepts to help him understand and predict the world around him. For example, he likes calculating the days, hours, and/or minutes until an event that he’s looking forward to.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
$20,000 would expand Carson’s opportunities to grow his love of math and other areas. He could attend STEM camps or engage in opportunities that ignite his excitement, like paleontology and robotics. Math enrichment and Olympiad prep programs would really help him build skills and confidence too! He really loves museums and space centers- we could use the money for immersive, educational travel. This would allow us to find specialized camps or programs for neurodivergent kiddos like Carson.
