My favorite subject is history because it helps me understand how the past shapes the present. Learning about events like the American Revolutionary War and the Civil Rights Movement shows me how decisions and leadership can create lasting change. History challenges me to think critically, consider different perspectives, and better understand the world around me.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A $20,000 award would help me pursue a career in criminal law. I hope to attend Baylor University and eventually become either a defense or prosecution lawyer. This support would help cover tuition, books, and academic opportunities that prepare me for law school. It would allow me to focus on strengthening my research, writing, and critical thinking skills so I can one day serve my community.
