Why They Love Being a Student

Chelsea has always been a seeker of education and learning. From studying hard in school to learning about how to change car brakes and tires in her spare time. She has the same type of curious mind that has propelled so many great people before her. Above all else Chelsea craves independence. She seeks out the type of knowledge that can help her solve her own life problems. Knowing when to ask for help, but also having the skills and knowledge to be self-sufficient. She is a student of life!

Favorite Subject & Why

Chelsea has come to learn that she particularly cares for History and English. For her, these classes give her mind an escape to the past and to creativity. These two things together are most likely why she also has an interest in the art of theatre. Chelsea has an amazing sense of self. This is a great thing to have when learning History, because it allows you to put yourself in the shoes of people in the past. While her future is centered around STEM, she will always carry a love for History.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

We all know that higher levels of education are expensive. Taking on that responsibility and risk to gain an invaluable education is well worth it. This is a conversation we have had with Chelsea. She is one of six children in our household which means money is always tight here. This $20,000 would be able to get her through most if not all of her undergraduate degree. That is a kind of financial relief that is immeasurable for us as a family. Chelsea would use this money to secure her future!
