Favorite Subject & Why
Christophers favorite subject is science. When he was younger, he spent a lot of time at our local children's hospital where his younger brother was being treated for cancer, and in explaining what was happening to his brother he picked up a fixation for anatomy and would love telling the doctors where his organs were at just 5 years old. As he's gotten older, he has developed a passion for astronomy. He frequently makes 'fun fact' papers about space for his own enjoyment.

My son's educational goals would be supported by this award by contributing to further his education beyond high school. It would also allow him to experience valuable extracurricular activities that broaden skills beyond the core curriculum and provide greater academic improvement.
