CJ is the sweetest and most creative student. He is on the autism spectrum but that has never defined him. He loves the Titanic most of all.
Thank you for supporting CJ in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Planetary Society and their mission to inspire curiosity and help shape the future of space exploration for everyone.
America's Favorite Student will share their educational journey in the pages of Reader’s Digest, highlighting the power of learning and inspiring readers nationwide.
Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
He loves being a student so he can learn new things. He wishes that other people could get the education he gets.
Favorite Subject & Why
His favorite subject is STEM. He likes the mechanical part of the subject. One time he created a Christmas chain with his class and ever since, he had been trying to build him own things. It also helps him to learn more about structures. He loves roads and has also considered going into engineering and designing roadways.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
We would donate it to schools and charities who do not get the opportunities his school gets. He would also like to help people to get a chance to go to school because he has learned so much. It’s less about the money and more about meeting Bill Nye. He has bought every science kit and watches his videos all the time!
