My sons favorite word from the time he could speak was "why"? He loves to learn about how things work and shows care to those around him.

Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
He loves to learn "why" things happen and what makes things work! For as long as he could talk, he's been inquisitive and thoughtful. Braiden enjoys working with other students and loves learning about new things. Being a student, he gets to do all of these things!
Favorite Subject & Why
My child's favorite subject is probably science. He has always been interested in seeing "how and why" things move/ work/ evolve the way they do and science usually helps explain that. At four years old, he loved songs about the planets and knew all of them by name(even most of the dwarf planets) and was even able to give facts about them!
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
That kind of award would substantially help out his educational goals in that we could put some back for college/additional schooling and help set him up with the tools he'd need to succeed. Also living in a low-income area can be really stressful sometimes (though we try not to let him know we're struggling) & that kind of money could be life changing, helping to provide a life with more stability and security. It would be the honor of a lifetime (for myself as a Bill Nye science mom and my son!)
