Dax LOVES to learn. He enjoys going to school every day, and has always had a fascination with all things science. We have been tracking solar storms and the Aurora for years, and he has been trying to teach all of his friends about the things he learns over the weekends about them. He has taught ME so much about everything from the sea to the sky, because he genuinely loves to share his new knowledge. His teachers all adore him, he is reliable and helpful just about every day in class.
Favorite Subject & Why
Science, easily! He enjoys learning about chemical reactions, we did a snow day experiment this winter learning about liquid densities and how even temperature can have an impact on how dense something is. He had a blast learning about non Newtonian fluids, and even spent time explaining them to his little sister.

It could ensure a solid start to a college fund and get Dax the supplies he needs to excel! I've never met a kid that WANTS fancy encyclopedias before but he would definitely be getting a set of those as well. It could fund him going to a STEM camp in the summer as well, and this kid wants nothing more than to meet real live scientists!
