He welcomes challenging conversations and isn’t afraid to speak up on difficult topics, always doing so with thoughtfulness, respect, and a genuine desire to learn and help others grow.

Favorite Subject & Why

Dean’s favorite subject is math because he genuinely enjoys learning new concepts and challenging himself. He is excelling in math and often impresses our family by quickly solving the math questions we throw his way. While he hasn’t had science yet in 4th grade, I wouldn’t be surprised if it soon becomes another favorite. If you ask Dean, though, he’ll honestly tell you that lunch is his absolute favorite subject—because he loves food! 😄

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Receiving $20,000 would greatly help alleviate the financial burdens that often come with pursuing higher education. It would allow Dean to focus on his academic goals and continued excellence without the added pressure of working while studying, helping reduce future student loan debt and stress.
