Why They Love Being a Student

School isn’t always easy for Eli. Social situations and some types of learning are challenging, and classrooms aren’t always built for the way his mind works. But he shows up anyway. That takes courage. He is deeply curious and believes every day should hold at least one good question—our family motto. Even when school is hard, his bravery shows in the way he keeps asking, wondering, and choosing to learn.

Favorite Subject & Why

Science is where Eli feels at home. When he looks at the night sky, he sees patterns, stories, and questions about how the universe works. When he looks at the ground, he sees the same wonder in rocks and fossils. He loves both astronomy and geology—reading the stories written in stars and stones. Science gives his curiosity room to breathe and reminds him that asking questions helps us understand the world.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

$20,000 would help give Eli the learning experiences that match his curiosity about the universe. School can be hard for him, but his love of science, astronomy, and geology never fades. With the right support—science programs, mentors, and tools to explore the stars and the stories in stones—he could turn his endless questions into confidence. This opportunity wouldn’t just support his education; it would help him believe he belongs in it.
