My child loves being a student because everyday she gets to learn something knew, she has overcome many challenges including in the last year becoming the only child in a now single parent home, with her older sister there to help with school, and help keep her on track. everyday she comes home excited to talk about why she has learned and excited to show off new skills.

Her favorite subject is Band, and science, 1st she loves band because she uses it as a extracurricular activity to realize her energy and feelings, second she loves science because she says it’s her way of seeing how things work. every year her favorite activity is the science fair project, where she thinks of creative ideas to try rather then the generic projects, she wants to explore and find out the reasons things happen. and why.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A $20,000 award would support my child’s goal to go to college, it would help her be able to invest it in a savings account until she graduates and can use it for school. i want to see her grow and give her the best of what she deserves.
