Why They Love Being a Student

Ella loves being a student because she wants to learn how to better the World, she loves challenges. She is passionate about animals (volunteers at Suncoast humane society), science, astronomy and greek mythology. Ella is striving to BE the change she wants to see in this World...whether it's her thoughts on how to minimize CO2 or how to clean the ocean or how to minimize use of plastic, her head is full of ideas and she loves learning about it.

Favorite Subject & Why

Ella is passionate about writing short stories for young adults so Language Arts is one her fav. subject, she is very advanced in Math and it is another of her favorites , as she says the world around is comprised of thousands of years old stories (Greek mythology <3 ) and math that challenged brilliant minds along the way.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Ella would love to go to CTY summer programs at John Hopkins, programs that offer deep dive into astronomy/astrophysics, chemistry and advanced math , subjects that usually limited at local schools. These programs in person would provide boost in her exploration of advanced topics. She also believes in donating part of her time and money (woman's shelter was the last place she donated) so if won, she will share her win with an organization.
