Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Emerson is inquisitive and likes to know how the world works. He is never satisfied with basic answers, and will let you know! He is a sponge for knowledge and loves learning facts about various topics. He is always excited about going to school and talking about what he learned on a given day.
Favorite Subject & Why
Emerson loves science and math. He likes doing experiments and learning about things like matter, energy, and the solar system. Emerson was speech-delayed, but we could tell he was very intelligent and wanted desperately to communicate. Then one day, he just started talking, and one of his first words was Mars! He saw the red planet on the TV, pointed to it, and exclaimed “Mars!” Before he was 3, he knew all of the planets and dwarf planets, and could recite various facts about them.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A $20,000 award would jump-start a college fund for Emerson! He is still a ways off from college, but we want to make sure he has all the resources he needs to thrive and pursue whatever dreams and goals he has in life!
