Why They Love Being a Student

Emma loves seeing her friends. She enjoys close relationships with her peers and considers it her life’s mission to include and welcome all students, especially if they are new. She also loves to feel challenged in her learning and works hard to improve and grow. For example, earlier this year she realized she wasn’t feeling challenged in math. She worked to use math strategies to make sure she was understanding her learning and is now feeling more challenged.

Favorite Subject & Why

Emma looks forward to times that she is able write and feels joy when she grows in her writing. She really enjoys writing opinion pieces because she likes taking a stance and backing her opinion up with reasons. Emma loves trying to persuade others to agree with her. She also loves creating projects in art, especially 3D art like ceramic pots and mugs. She combines her creativity with her writing by creating her own comic books and graphic novels.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Emma has a dream to be her own boss. She would like achieve this dream by owning her own unique business. This business includes providing a safe place for people to board their pets, for either daily or extended periods of time. She also plans to provide veterinary care and grooming services. Above all, Emma is passionate about caring for animals. She LOVES animals. The $20,000 would support her by helping her go to college to pursue a business degree.
