Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn’t, but she prides herself on being smart and loves learning. She’s genuinely interested in math and likes telling me trivia (like how zero is the middle number because there’s infinite positive and negative numbers, and there’s numbers larger than infinity because you can multiply infinities). She likes kpop demon hunters and anime, recently decided to teach herself Korean, and has done Duolingo every day on her own for over a month.
Favorite Subject & Why
Usually math, she was into geography for a bit, and right now she’s back to art because they’re working on their own version of Basquiat’s Dinosaur King and she’s excited about it.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Probably camps or extracurriculars that might otherwise be a stretch and would give her opportunities to delve deeper into different interests. This summer there’s a STEM one and an art one I know she’d like, but they’re each $600-750 per week. Maybe put some into her 529 plan.
