Why They Love Being a Student

Ezra has a thirst for learning and art. He is constantly reading, absorbing information, and sharing facts with family over dinner. He is always seeking to expand his knowledge, creating art, and he loves to share his passion with as many people as possible. Even during a gathering at home, he can be found sharing his knowledge with a table full of adults, including a director at COSI who was impressed by how much he knew and could articulate.

Favorite Subject & Why

Science and art are his favorite subjects, and he excels in math. Ezra loves learning about physical sciences and thinking through ideas that could explain the unexplained. He is a bit of a dreamer but his dreams are grounded in what he has learned which allows him to come up with his own hypotheses. His artistic ability is phenomenal and he loves combining his knowledge of science with his artwork.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

We know Ezra is going to go far in his education. A boring and repetitive future is not for him. One thing that has been consistent since he learned to crawl is his desire to figure things out, whether that meant testing electronics or taking apart a remote or toys. We can see him pursuing a degree and career in engineering where there are a lot of moving parts and the information is constantly changing and being applied.
