Why They Love Being a Student

He loves to learn new things. Ever since he was small he has enjoyed deep conversations about science. He loves to share new information with friends and family. His love for learning has propelled him into advanced classes in school for math and science. He has been known to challenge his teachers out of curiosity and explore above and beyond his classes. He has always taken pride in his grades in school and makes a point to be competitive with his test scores. He has won many academic rewards.

Favorite Subject & Why

Gabriel tells me that it is hard to pick a favorite subject but he really enjoyed chemistry. He loved learning about the math that happens at a molecular level. He enjoyed learning about the properties of elements and how they interact with each other. He liked uncovering the secrets of how and why the fundamentals of the world come together. He has also considered a career involving biochemistry, pharmacology or astronomy. He would like to observe and discover new secrets of our universe.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

This blessing would help him to springboard his aspirations of joining a university with the technology and laboratories to facilitate his curiosity and learn hands on. He has already qualified to begin college as a high school student and plans to graduate with an associate a degree. This scholarship would allow him to pay for university and boarding. He also was interested in the NASA junior program.
