Why They Love Being a Student

She loves participating in school, helping others to understand curriculum, being social with her peers and brightening their day, as well as the educational aspect of school. She enjoys learning more ways to problem solve and use her critical and creative thinking skills in and outside of the classroom. Being in the educational environment helps her thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Favorite Subject & Why

Her favorite subject is tied between literature (ELA) and the art of music. She enjoys reading poetry and books with an underlying, deeper, and more complex meaning behind the words. Analyzing historical or fictional texts is one of her favorite hobbies and things to learn in school right now. Additionally, what she loves more than ELA is learning about music theory and playing any instrument she can get her hands on. She will listen to any genre, from classical to soul to everything in between.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

My daughter wants to grow up to be an emergency physician and learn all she can about as much as she can. $20,000 would be able to help her achieve her goals at her dream school, University of Michigan. She would prefer to stay in a dormitory so she can focus more on her studies and learn as much as she can, since it would be a longer commute. As previously stated, she thrives in the educational setting and only has her best educational interests in mind.
