Why They Love Being a Student

⭐️Unlike her classmates that are counting down the days until they are done, Gigi realizes that her time in school is limited- so she enjoys every moment. She has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and often does more than whats expected, earning the nickname 'Extra'. On top of her studies, Gigi enjoys being part of student council, the school play, band, yearbook, softball and numerous clubs and extracurriculars. She also loves the social aspect of school and brings everyone together.

Favorite Subject & Why

💜Her first loves were Math & Science. She was selected in 8th grade to be a part of a new, excelerated program in NYS where she studied at the 10th grade level! When talking about those subjects she says, 'There's only one right answer, so you have to figure out how to get there using what you know." Recently, she has also developed a love for AP History & Global Studies- realizing that 'Every moment of the past, no matter how big or small, has an effect on the world today.'

🪙Gigi has attended several programs over the years at Cornell University and fell in love with the school/campus the first moment she saw it. Attending Cornell is her dream and she is doing everything she possibly can to make that dream come true. This would help her do even more- in school, the community & at home, so she can get to where she wants to be- a Big Red!
