He enjoys learning and thinks it's fun to be in school. He never complains about having to go to school and is the first person to wake up in the morning. He has a morning checklist to get himself ready for the day and looks forward to the bus ride with his friends. He often volunteers to help his teachers without being asked. He has a knack for learning facts, especially about science. He has a love for reading and researches new topics that might interest him; often does science experiments.

Science and math are a tie because he says they are connected. He often finds a correlation between science and math. He knows that astronauts have to be good at these subjects and he has expressed interest in becoming one. He is also very interested in weather and how different types of weather conditions form (including natural disasters). He has also expressed interest in becoming a meteorologist.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Giovanni's aspirations often lead him to ask for experiences that will give him first-hand exposure towards his future goals. His curiosity extends beyond the books he reads, videos he watches, and topics he learns in school. The $20K would enable us to give him an opportunity to engage with the world in a more direct way with science. He often asks to be taken to places, such as museums outside of our hometown, where he can discover more and we would like to nurture his interests further.
