Grafton loves being a student because he loves to learn new things and try new experiences. He also loves being social and engages with Ms. Ponesse and other students in his class to help everyone learn.
Favorite Subject & Why
Grafton's favorite subject is a toss up between science and art, because they both allow him to be creative and learn hands on about things he doesn't get to experience everyday. He is very interested in all types of animals and how they live in their own worlds, and constantly brings home library books that are animal focused. Art is a tie because he can incorporate animals, science and other creative aspects into his daily curiosity.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
This award would help Grafton explore his love of science and robots while continuing to grow as a student and athlete. It would allow us to buy STEM kits, robotics supplies, and books that challenge his curiosity and problem-solving skills. It could also help pay for science camps, robotics clubs, and sports programs that teach teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Most importantly, it would give him more opportunities to learn, build, and discover the world around him, while being social.
