Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Being a student allows Greta to explore the world without limits. She loves going to school and summertime swim team. She adores her social connections, piano, singing, sports, and dance. She simply exists for learning. Greta is a student of life, not just the 8 hours she’s in a classroom. If she’s not reading “Science Rules” or “Mini Beasts,” she's watching Crunch Labs with Mark Rober, Bill Nye, or shows about Reptiles & amphibians. Greta lives for learning and living life.
Favorite Subject & Why
Greta loves Science with Mr. E. (he worked for NASA). Another favorite is history. Her spelling is impeccable, but not an official subject. There are days when music is #1. Circling back to science, since she’s been itty bitty, she’s been interested in the human body. Now, it’s insects, reptiles, & amphibians. At age 6, she was called the “bug scientist” and tutored her classmates on insects. Currently, she's upgraded to “Reptile Lady”. She swims in the pool of science any chance she gets.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Greta loves learning—EVERYTHING! What a gift to the world. She attends a private school where the structure keeps her focused, challenged, and surrounded by loving adults. An award would allow her to continue at her school. The tuition is a monthly challenge for a teacher’s salary. This award would keep Greta on her path to her greatest success, embraced by those who support her learning the most.
