Self proclaimed nerd. School has always been her favorite place. From getting school supplies in the beginning of the year to bringing home classroom materials at the end she always excited. She has always brought home summer work to practice while out of school. Her bookshelf is always overflowing and she can be seen with at least 3 books in her bag at a time. She says she likes learning new techniques to help her solve problems.
Favorite Subject & Why
Science, because she likes being hands on and learning more about the world. From a young age she would do experiments to see how items like slime would change if you added other ingredients ( lotion, soap etc). Trying to find new solutions to solve problems within our society is her goal in the future
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Her career goal is Environmental Law and Forensic Science. As a sophomore she is starting to apply for scholarships and this award would open opportunities to more schools that offer these programs. These programs take years to achieve so having that award would allow her to have a great start.
