Why They Love Being a Student

This girl loves to learn. If she’s not in school learning she’s reading, learning American Sign Language, coding electronics, or learning math above her grade level. She has an absolutely curious mind and asks so many questions. Each of her teachers say she’s incredibly bright and when she finishes her work she’s quick to jump in and help TEACH those who are struggling with the concept. We all know teaching is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen your mind. She thinks outside of the box.

Favorite Subject & Why

Math is her favorite subject. At conferences last week we learned from Hudsyn’s teacher that she thinks beyond what her teacher even thinks on how to do things sometimes. She likes the challenge. We have recently started working on 5th grade concepts because she wants something more challenging and to stretch her thinking.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

If Hudsyn got chosen for this award we would support her educational goals by sending her to camps with gifted children or at colleges to prepare her for the future. Whether it’s a scientist or a doctor we’ll do whatever it takes because we see her potential. The world can benefit from more gifted children that will accomplish amazing things in the future.
