Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Isaac loves learning, and has taken it upon himself to study subjects he finds interesting outside of school. He started learning trigonometry on his own before he took the class, and now working on calculus. He is reading about and studying astrophysics on his own time. He finds the human brain and the universe fascinating and likes to dig into philosophy, psychology, and the wonders of the universe.
Favorite Subject & Why
Isaac loves Physics because the math is 'real' and applicable to the world. He is able to visualize physics and finds that engaging. He hopes to study astrophysics in college.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
With a field like astrophysics, graduate school and perhaps even a doctoral degree is likely. Not only that, but because it is such a specialized focus, there are limited schools that offer this program. These schools tend to be large flagship state schools, or private institutions. With this gift, he would not be limited in school options due to cost.
