Why They Love Being a Student
Jasper loves exploring the world around us, from tech to animals to the universe. On any given day, you can find him looking up information about phone models, reading about whales, or watching videos on the solar system. His favorite school subject is math, and even though he says he "can't do hard math", he also says "hard math won't always be hard", and starts every school day with a smile!
Favorite Subject & Why
When we first signed up for this, Jasper's favorite thing to do was read. Currently, he's moved on to math! Everyday when he comes home from school, he shows us his work, then writes out pop quizzes for us to answer - all math problems. When we're finished, he has us write him out practice math problems as well. He loves getting them right! And when he gets them wrong, he loves learning how to correct his mistakes and do it right the next time. Jasper's never ending 'can-do' attitude is amazing!
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
With $20,000, we could relocate to an area closer to a good school, in a home that’s closer to things like zoos, science centers, and museums, which Jasper loves! It would also provide us stability amidst the medical bills and health problems that stemmed from his premature birth, and will make for a great start his college fund. We want to use every cent to help make his future shine in any way we can!
