Why They Love Being a Student

Jenna loves being a student because she loves learning different subjects from people who come from all walks of life and have different views that she can research more into to get more information. Jenna is apart of the duel enrollment program so she doesn’t only learn from her high school teachers, she is learning from her college professors as well. Jenna loves being in all sorts of educational classrooms, whether it be in school or on her own time.

Favorite Subject & Why

Jennas favorite subject is science and history. She says they are both equally her favorite. Jenna loves her honors chemistry class because she loves finding out more bonds, atoms, and reactions. She loves doing labs in class and always comes home talking about it.She also loves history because she says we are where we are today because of the past so why not learn how we got here. In her college class, she is taking western history and genuinely enjoys hearing about the great names in history.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

The $20,000 award would help Jenna tremendously. University is so expensive now and she wants to get her BSN in school, become a traveling RN with a specialty in oncology, and eventually become a PA. Nursing school is so hard to get into and so expensive. Jenna is always worried about paying for school and taking out loans.
