Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
My son loves to interact and play with other students his age. He loves the social aspect of being a student and enjoys learning alongside others. Jonathan enjoys participating in class and often raises his hand to ask questions or state answers.
Favorite Subject & Why
My son has told me his favorite subject is history and he often states historical facts that he’s learned at school. But he also shows a lot of interest in Math, Science and Reading. He loves watching Bill Nye and often asks about the solar system. He also loves reading books at bedtime and is always reading signs and posters wherever we go. He also states he enjoys Physical education and has participated in a few teams at our local YMCA. So, I would say he likes all subjects.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Higher education and extracurricular activities outside of school such as classes, groups, or sports are costly. Due to my financial circumstances it takes time to save up in order to enroll or take my son to these activities. The $20,000 award would support my child’s educational goals by covering the costs of additional extracurricular activities he wants to participate in & further his higher education.
