Why They Love Being a Student

Julien loves being a student because he enjoys helping and supporting others whenever they need it. He absolutely loves spending time with his classmates and is currently a student aide to a new second-grade student, which he takes great pride in. He enjoys exploring new subjects and loves to share what he learns with anyone willing to listen, especially mom and dad. Julien also loves being a class volunteer and strives to inspire his classmates through his kindness and leadership.

Favorite Subject & Why

Julien’s favorite subject is science, especially meteorology. He loves learning about how weather forms and says he still has so many questions to be answered. He finds it fascinating that people around the world can be experiencing completely different types of weather at the same time. His curiosity about how and why weather changes is what makes science so exciting for him.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

A $20,000 award would greatly support Julien’s educational goals by giving him access to more resources to explore the subjects he’s passionate about, such as animation, political science, entomology and meteorology. He would greatly benefit from being part of a STEAM program, which his current school does not offer. This support would allow him to expand his learning opportunities, nurture his curiosity, and continue developing his love for science.
