Being a student gives him a creative freedom that he may not feel anywhere else. Doing good and learning new things in school provides Kaiden with a massive sense of pride and positive reinforcement. Being a student gives him the opportunity to discover new things and develop friendships outside of his family.
Favorite Subject & Why
Kaiden's favorite subject is STEM. He has a fantastic teacher that encourages his creativity through hands-on and engaging work. STEM allows him to learn by doing and even at such a young age it teaches him how to think critically and solve problems.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Although majority of this award would be saved! This award would provide a bridge to a better fitting educational environment for Kaiden. It would allow us the opportunity for private or alternative schooling. We would also use it towards enrollment to summer intensives for local STEM camps and professional tutoring.
