Why They Love Being a Student

Kailani endeavors to give her best academically on every assignment. She loves getting creative whether it’s a diorama, some DIY experimentation, or starting her own novel under inspiration! She questions everything. Those questions lead to even more insightful questions and discussions which can take us, her parents, for a wild ride! I believe she truly has learned to cherish this time as a young person to expand her mind and I know she will be a lifelong learner.

While she loves social studies, the arts, and science, literature and writing courses have her heart. She finds excitement in traveling far away within her mind, using her imagination, and letting the words—or her own pen—explore the unknown.

When she gets older, Kailani’s goals are to travel and learn as much as she can about different cultures, gain new experiences about the world around her, and pursue a career that affords her the freedom to innovate and create. While she isn’t ready to decide upon her entire future at age 11, she is clear on who she wants to be. She wants to be a courageous, resilient, and compassionate woman one day who never backs down from helping others and being herself.
