Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Kendall loves meeting new friends and helping students with special needs. She consistently volunteers to pair up with students who need peer help. Shes very empathic and loves her friends! She sacrifices personal time to take care of their needs. She wants to be a teacher as an occupation.
Favorite Subject & Why
Kendall loves Math and Science. She loves plant/animal life, weather, magnets, and experiments especially making slime! We do all kinds of experiments at home for the joy of messes, answering the why questions and suprises!
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Kendall has two siblings in college (a freshman and junior) and we know the cost of education well. She could use the money to aid in extracurricular classes too (she's in theatre classes at the Kalamazoo Civic) plus she's in dance too and we'd like to take art classes at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. All of the classes she takes will help her attract scholarships for college. We will use the money wisely!
