Leah’s favorite subject is physics. Her love of science stemmed from watching Bill Nye at and early age. She enjoys the combination of mathematical and scientific concepts in that field. The logic and problem-solving skills necessary to work through physics questions make the class fun for Leah. She loves to collaborate with others and find solutions to difficult problems.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
$20,000 would support Leah in her goals of pursuing an education after high school. She would like to major in mechanical engineering. Aside from her college expenses, Leah would use the money for any travel or housing necessary for internships that will help prepare her for a career in the engineering field.
