Why They Love Being a Student

She loves being a student because she loves to learn! Every day I ask her, “did you learn anything cool today?” She always has something to say. Recently, she learned that there are many “animals” that can change colors to protect themselves. She loves animals and learning about them. She loves helping her classmates out and explaining the content that they are learning in case they are having a hard time. She says, she just loves to keep learning “everything”.

Favorite Subject & Why

Her favorite is a tie between math and science. She loves learning of where we came from, the planets and things “work”. She is learning fractions right now and she loves it when she “gets it in her head”. I watch my daughter do her homework without help, if I try to help her she says “no mom, I want to do it”. She loves to read, her teacher came up to me after school and had to tell me how impressed and “cool” it was that she chose to read a book at indoor recess rather than play on the tablet

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

If Lenora won $20,000 she would want to invest some of it for her college goals - a lot of colleges in Michigan such as UofM/Michigan State have camps in the summer for kids her age and that can be costly so this would pay for that and she does have a college savings account so some will go in there if we have the opportunity to share it with a child in need that would help them, I know she would want to give a portion to a child organization that helps other kids with their college goals.
