Why They Love Being a Student

My child loves being a student because he enjoys learning new things and discovering how the world(specifically the scientific world) works. He gets excited about exploring different theories, asking questions, and sharing what he's learned. Being a student gives him a sense of direction and helps him build confidence and independence. Exploring science teaches him to be proud of what he can accomplish.

Favorite Subject & Why

My son's favorite two subjects are Science and Math. He naturally has a very curious mind. He likes to solve problems and puzzles and figuring out solutions on his own helps him believe in himself. Science lets him explore and understand the world in a hands-on way. He's always asking and looking up new facts daily. He is like a sponge and he holds facts about the natural world dear to him. His obsession with learning about tornados helps him develop an understanding of the natural world.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

A $20,000 reward would go directly into a secure savings to help my child have a strong foundation for a future in a science-related field. I had children at a very young age and a now single mother struggling with saving money to fund my children's future. My only goal besides furthering my own career, is to help make his dream possible. The $20,000 would help my son be able to continue his passion for scientific studies and would open doors for my child that might otherwise be out of reach.
